Statement on Bullying Statement on Bullying

Within the Catholic ethos of the Cathedral Catholic Primary School, the whole issue of one person imposing him/herself in any way on another is seen as totally negative. Whether the bullying is physical, mental or emotional; whether it involves unwelcome attention or influence; whether it simply involves isolation; it is seen as totally against the teaching of Jesus Christ and the policy of the school.

Where there is a question of bullying, as apart from poor relationships or friends falling out, the matter will be dealt with most seriously and parents will be involved.

Bullying is a situation, which can never be seen as acceptable.
