Parents Parents

As a parent of a child at Cathedral School, it is very much hoped that you will want to be involved in your child's progress and discuss how you and the teacher can best help your child. Twice during the year you will be invited formally to the school for Parent's Evenings. At the end of the year, parents will receive a written report.

If you have any concerns or matters you would like to discuss further, you are welcome to contact the school at any time to arrange a mutually convenient appointment with the Class Teacher or the Headteacher.

Mobile phones, other electronic equipment and toys are not allowed in school.

Parents, Teachers and Friends Association
There is an active Parents, Teachers and Friends Association at the school of which all parents are automatically members. They work extremely hard to raise money for the school and you are very welcome to attend any meeting or functions. As well as seeking to help and support the school, the PTFA aims to provide a means of bringing parents together and of promoting links with the local community. New members are especially welcome and it is a good way of getting to know other people and making new friends. Only willing volunteers will be asked to serve on a committee!
