To end Refugee Week we all brought something to school that was precious to us. We were raising money for the charity East Meets West. Lots of us brought a special toy. Some of our toys were very keen to join in our learning!
Year 3 have been thinking about how we make and keep friendships. We made instructions for how to be a good friend.
We started well-being day with a fire safety talk from Lancaster Fire Service.
In DT we have been designing and making healthy sandwiches. We tasted lots of different types of food and used what we had found out about nutrition in science to design a healthy packed lunch. We enjoyed tasting lots of new things.
Before Easter, Y4 planted red and white onions. They are growing really well and we are doing a good job of weeding them and looking after them.
We have been exploring levers and linkages. We are going to use these to help us build moving monsters.

Today, Year 3 had a visit from NISCU. We were learning about what it means to be part of the Church. We looked at churches all over the world and how people worship God.
We have found out that not all information on websites is true. We have had a go at creating our own spoof websites.
Year 3 had a fantastic visit to Lancaster Castle today. We found out lots of facts about the part the castle has played in the history of Lancaster.
Today Year 3 have been learning how to divide numbers by sharing and grouping.
