Today, we welcomed two CAFOD volunteers, Diane and Frances, who led an assembly and workshops linked to the Jubilee Year. They explained how the £613.27 we raised during Lent will be used to help people in Kenya to keep chickens which will help them to build a better future. In the workshop in Year 5, we were Pilgrims of Hope, reflecting on how our actions bring hope to others around the world. We ended the workshop by writing letters on outlines of our hands to persuade bank leaders to cancel debt in developing countries and share hope - one of the messages St Francis gave for this Jubilee Year.
