Supporting children with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities and their families is an important area of focus for us at The Cathedral Catholic Primary School. We aim for all pupils, regardless of need, to reach their full potential and be safe and happy whilst doing it.
Please find below a selection of documents that outline SEND provision in our school, as well as a list of websites for parents seeking information and support.
As always, if you need support or guidance please contact the SENDCO, Mrs Benson (s.benson@cathedral.lancs.sch.uk).
Parents of children with SEND can login to Edukey here to access their child's Individual Support Plans.
From 1st September 2025, parents of children submitting new requests for an Education Health and Care needs Assessment (EHCNA/EHCP) will be invited to use Lancashire County Councils new EHC Dashboard. Please click here to find a training video for parents on how to register and access this service.
