We’ve started Year 5 off with a bang and throughly enjoyed our Marvellous Me topic week.
As part of the week we participated in a Healthy Heads Day. Here’s what some Year 5 pupils had to say about it…

”To unwind our bodies we did some stretches and my favourite stretch was snake pose. In snake pose you lie on the ground on your tummy and with your arms, push your upper body up.” Eva

”I liked the yoga stances and the feather game that we played. The PE was really exciting, we got to play team games and the best game was the ships game.” Peter

”Firstly we did some calm, relaxing yoga. Once we had finished we went upstairs to do some mindfulness colouring. After we finished break Kelly from Healthy Heads came in to talk to us about the parts of our brain. Then we played resilience games.” Naomi

”We saw the Healthy Heads group and did some calming yoga. I loved the sports games and learning about the head and brain.” Evie
