As we continue to explore our 'States of Matter' topic, we have have been looking at alternatives to solids, liquids and gases. One of these is a 'non-newtonian fluid' that can easily be created using cornflour and water. It behaves like a solid when you apply pressure (push on it or roll it into a ball) but as soon as you stop the pressure, it become liquid again. Hours of messy fun!
