Healthy Bodies and Healthy Minds in Year 4

Today was a day when we learnt about keeping our minds and bodies fit and healthy though meditation, yoga, exercise and calming strategies. A great way to start the year with skills we can use to improve our wellbeing.

A calm start to the year

Year 2 started their year with a very welcome yoga session as part of our learning about Marvellous Me. We learned how to relax and breathe which will help to keep us calm and focussed throughout our busy year.

Our First Day (Group 1)

We had such an amazing first day of school! One of our favourite areas of the classroom were the role play area, where we made chocolate and chips using playdough! We also loved exploring outside and made a house for all of the spiders that live out there!
